The lil mini baby conchas are so cute, perfectly sized, and La Curra is a poppin spot! The service -- couldnt be any nicer or accommodating! Price point = perfect! Godson had a Mario party annnnd they were so gracious enough to make blue, yellow, red, and pink (princess peach!) conchas! They flew out of the box! Brought for a work holiday party, they also flew out of the box! Perrrrfect! Continue on with your business La Curra. Be Blessed, and thank you!
Their pan dulce is amazing. We specially love their mini conchas and bolillo. I wish they were open on Sundays or later in the day during the week.
I was stuck with Superior's inferior pan dulce until I found this place. I'm tempted to say come early (or late) to avoid the lines but the lines give me the feeling like I'm an old timer in the town square lining up for bread. The youngster that works there is an Eagles' fan to boot. Score. Support this family biz. I have hopes this is one of those rich but modest Mexican families living in Covina Hills.
The ABSOLUTE best concha's and pan dolce in or around Covina!! They are fresh, soft and so delicious! Melt in your mouth treats!! The staff is all so kind and helpful! Love, love this place!!
Hidden gem, found out about this place from a friend. Best referral is usually word of mouth. Tried chile & cheese tamale that was absolutely delicious. It's definitely hard to find one that not dry, well proportionate in masa & tasty. Love that they open extremely early. Only wish they would be open maybe half day on a Sunday especially for those after attending church. Love the little size cookies, not stuck trying a regular size & not liking it. Oh & try their pre-made sandwiches. You will not be disappointed. Give this place a try, it's as good as it gets! Establishment is small but always clean. You're also able to use gloves or tongs to choose your items.
So glad I found this bakery. I've been on the hunt for good bolillos with jalapeños and cream cheese. These did not disappoint! The bread was so fresh! Their selection and service were great.
Came yesterday in the early morning. They had conchas and butterfly cookies in small versions of the large ones which were the perfect size! Usually both are large and I get full fast but this way I can eat more and feel less bad about it Both conchas and cookies were delicious and the butterfly cookies were great consistency, being flaky and sweet! The staff is very friendly and they take apple pay too! Will be coming back again
